Welcome to Traveling Fadlings! We are Leah and Matt, a globe-trotting couple with a passion for exploring the world on a budget and sharing our adventures with you.

Leah, a Texas native and seasoned traveler, has a knack for exploring new places both solo and with friends. With an MFA in Fiction Writing from UNC Greensboro and a career in marketing, Leah brings her storytelling prowess and practical travel tips to our blog. She's journeyed through Europe extensively, including a memorable study abroad experience in Italy, and knows how to make the most of any travel budget.

Matt, originally from California and Hawaii, is an airline pilot who spent four years living in Beijing. During his time in China, he traveled extensively throughout Southeast Asia, as well as Australia and New Zealand. Thanks to Matt’s travel benefits, we’ve mastered the art of non-rev (non-revenue) traveling, allowing us to explore the world cheaply and frequently.
